Oriental Group completes refinancing & extension of existing bank financing facilities under the guidance of IFS

In February 2021, Oriental Group, known under the trade name “Amazing Oriental”, located in Hoofddorp, expanded its existing facilities at house bank ING. This included a capex financing for a multi-year investment program in the form of a new distribution center. Integrated Finance Solutions (IFS) BV guided Oriental Group throughout the entire financing process.

Amazing Oriental
Amazing Oriental is an Asian supermarket chain that opened its first store in 1986 in Amsterdam, now 35 years ago. The group currently owns 24 large stores in the Netherlands, of which the largest stores are equipped with so-called Food corners, seating customers who can enjoy meals and snacks on the spot. The product range now includes more than 10,000 authentic A-brands, consisting of various Asian, exotic and tropical food, non-food and fresh products. Amazing Oriental is supplier of these products in the catering industry, restaurants, wholesalers and private individuals in the Netherlands and Spain.

The current head office of the cooperation is located in Hoofddorp and a modern distribution center is located in The Hague (Ypenburg). Amazing Oriental is currently the largest Asian supermarket chain in The Netherlands based on a well-thought-out “Developing Eastern Food in the Western World” formula.

In view of the increasing growing demand for food and non-food products from the world kitchen, Amazing Oriental intends to realise a further rollout of stores and locations in order to meet the increasing demand from its customers. Hence, the current distribution facilities shall be expanded with an additional distribution center thus materialising the multi-year investment program.
