IFS accompanies Van Oers Groep and De Vries Snacks in business merger and financing

As per June 2015, Van Oers Group and De Vries Snacks have joined forces into the newly established UNITED FOOD FAMILY B.V.. Together, the two family businesses have been active for more than 115 years in the out-of-home market of frozen snacks and salads in Holland and Belgium. The cooperation between both companies ensures continuity and clout in the quickly changing out-of-home food market. Both Van Oers Group and De Vries Snacks will continue to operate with their own brand names and locations under the flag of UNITED FOOD FAMILY B.V.. Integrated Finance Solutions accompanied both the merger and adjacent financing, integrating all capital components of its advisory model in an integrated manner.

Van Oers Group
As a family owned business, Van Oers Group has been active in the Dutch food industry since 1958 becoming a major player in frozen snacks and salads in the convenience food market. Van Oers Group has several products and recipes that have been best tested by tasting panels and customers, several times in a row. By means of their unique overall concept, Van Oers Group became the founding father of the warm snacks sales in the petrol canal. After selling their wholesale activities, a modern middle-sized production company emerged, concentrating on frozen snacks and salads in the out-of-home market segment for both retail & industry. As a typical Brabants family-owned business, Van Oers Group maintains warm contacts with its relations, some of whom have been customers for several decades. The company owns a production plant and head office in Boxtel (snacks and salads) and a second production plant in Oudenbosch (salads only).

De Vries Snacks
De Vries Snacks from Dordrecht, has been active for over 60 years in the frozen snacks market and delivers exclusively to the out-of-home petrol canal in Holland and Belgium. The company has a very strong position with branded snacks such as the Mexicano. The market position in Belgium acquired by De Vries Snacks, is unique for a Dutch snack company.
