The latest book of Edin Mujagic, a macro and monetary economist, officially saw the daylight on July 13th, 2016 when it was given to the president of DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank), Klaas Knot. The book covers 200 years of monetary history, starting by the coming into existence of both the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the DNB in 1814.
Social project
In order to reduce the ‘lack of knowledge of our monetary history’, Mujagic shall supply all Dutch secondary schools with a section economy with a free copy of the book. Subsequently, he shall visit the schools to start a dialogue with both economy and social science students and teachers. IFS wholeheartedly supports this social project.
